It's safe to say that Daniel Negreanu will be blogging about this one. After a flop of 10 9 4 , Brian Rast bets 65,000 from the big blind, and Daniel Negreanu moves all in from middle position for 189,000.Then Dino French moves all in from late position for 195,000. Then Saifuddin Ahmad moves all in from the button for about 290,000. (I didn't have time to count his stack, so that's an approximate.) Three players are all in, and Brian Rast stands up to think. He has the other players covered, but he certainly didn't expect this to happen when he bet 65,000 with his straight draw. Rast had 87 for an open-ended straight draw, and he obviously knew that he was behind. At best, he had eight outs to the straight, and if someone had a flush draw, he'd have six outs. If he calls, the pot would be worth 1.1 million. Rast called, later saying, "I call because ... what the hell, you gotta get chips somehow, right?" Here's what everyone showed: The Board: 10 9 4![]() Brian Rast: 87 (straight draw) Daniel Negreanu: JJ (overpair) Dino French: 1010 (top set) Saifuddin Ahmad: 109 (top two pair) There were no flush draws, but Negreanu had two of Rast's outs, so there were six cards that could give him the pot. Ahmad could only win with running nines, and Negreanu needed a runner-runner straight or full house to win. (Because a jack alone would give Rast a jack-high straight.) Dino French was in a very strong position. He needed to avoid two jacks, four sixes, and a couple of runner-runner miracles to win a huge pot. Is everyone keeping up so far? The turn card is the Q. Ahmad is now drawing dead with his two pair, and Negreanu picks up an open-ended straight draw of his own. Negreanu needs a king or an eight. Rast needs a jack or a six. And Dino French will win with any other card in the deck. The river card is the ... wait for it ... J. Negreanu makes a set of jacks at the worst possible time. If Brian Rast had folded his straight draw, Negreanu would have won the pot to catapult himself to more than 800,000 in chips. Dino French was a big favorite on the turn, but he's left with nothing but a great story and $39,570. It takes a few moments to sort everything out, but here's the end result: Brian Rast wins the pot with his queen-high straight, contending for the chip lead with 1.11 million. Daniel Negreanu is eliminated in 76th place, earning $39,570. Saifuddin Ahmad is eliminated in 75th place, earning $39,570. Dino French is eliminated in 74th place, earning $39,570. While Rast was stacking his chips, someone asked him about the call, and that's when he said, "I call because, what the hell, you gotta get chips somehow, right?" Negreanu added, "It's a pretty automatic call." And this concludes the longest single-hand update in WPT history.

Flop 9 10 4 two hearts. Bb bets 65 I go all in, everyone goes all in. Turn Q River Jack I make trips if the first guy folded I win a monster" 10:42 PM - "Craziest thing is that the guy with 10 10 moved in like 5 times before this hand, but decided to just call this time. Weird"
