Hey!
So, this is a quick post to tell you how I’ve been doing lately both in poker and general matters.
First, I’ve finished the month with a negative -$260 this is the second time since I started playing poker that I had overall negative results in a month. I’m not very disappointed coz it has to happen from time to time, and I think I pretty much now what was the problem.
I started playing on FTP on September and I had a monster rush for my first 8K hands, having almost no bad beats and a few coolers. And October was exactly the opposite; I went pretty much unlucky, having some bad beats and a lot of coolers. So I started playing more carefully, and taking little risk. I suppose this was the bad idea coz the rest of the month I wasn’t so unlucky but couldn’t get much value being aggressive.
PokerEV graph:

So as you see I wasn’t so unlucky (just -$110) but I couldn’t really compensate those looses with winning pot before showdown. And that’s the problem of playing a conservative style on SH. You just loose tons of value.
Happily I had a good month on the Limpers Online Open, and actually won some tournament money, for the 18th place. So I finished the month on -$170 and ready to fight back on both NL50 and the LOOP.
******************************
In other news, I decided to stop working and concentrate myself on study/poker for the rest of the year. I’ve saved some money for the next few months, and then see what happens with my life. I got no classes next semester so I suppose I’ll be doing an internship and playing poker a lot ^^
******************************
When I wrote the last entry I investigate a little bit about the beginning of some of the internet meme, and found about a page called 4chan that is pretty much madness. I suppose is nice to be able to express yourself on the internet, but this site just goes pretty far. If you are curious just go to the /b/ section, you’ll see some hardcore stuff that you won’t probably see elsewhere.
