Weekly and Monthly Update : November

First of all I got to excuse myself, I’ve been a little bit busy lately, studying and working, and I didn’ had the time before to give you my report for last week, but well now I can, so here it goes:

-MTT: I break even on 5 $20 tourneys, with just one cash. I finished 24 on one of the daily 20K guaranteed for $106 (damn so close to the $5K for the 1st ). Balance this week: -$4

- SNG: My SNG runs are better than last week and specially for the 6 handed ones:

- 11 $10 SNG 10 handed for $59 net won
- 9 $12 SNG 6 handed for $127 net won
- 1 $6 SNG 6 handed I played by mistake for $17 net won not by mistake
- Balance: $203

-So only for MTT and SNG it was a nice (since its positive) week for $200 net

-CG: Ok the best for the end, I’ve been playing not that much (1K hands) but I ve been rocking the game. I think I’m playing my best CG ever, I’m destroying tables, and knowing exaclty the hole cards of all my table. I’m pretty sure I’m the best NL5 player right now in the world, and I dare any ONLINE player or B&M pro to play me on NL5 anytime they like. I swear I ll destroy them. Tonight I’ll call Sbrugby, Durrr, Negreanu, Ivey and Benyamine for a little “sesh”.

Now seriously, the truth is that I got a really nice week but my game isn’t really much better. I just had the honour to find the kindless and altruist vballer06, this is the coolest guy born to play NL5 ever: a 92/90/0 who in less than an hour took me from -$5 to +$50. I mean the guy rocks, he sent all in every hand, and i m not saying this is the guy who goes all in preflop every time he has AA, no, he was probably a wealthy gambler who decided to see how much time does it take to loose $100 on NL5.

So he first cracked my Ladies with 43 os, then on my tilt phase I doubled up with A5s, then I triple up with KK. And then just played the easiest poker game I ve ever played.

So balance this week is $50 for 104 BB/hands LAWL!!!

Now let s talk a little bit more seriously. November was a nice month in wich I came back to life in poker. The last 6 months I ve been in some kind of stagnation as they took away my beloved $10 - 180 players SNG, and I didn t really find my way on the game, I was playing some CG, learning how much should I play, and how to approach the different tables and stuff, but really had no game I was attracted to play in. Taking that on count, I was merely playing Sunday Million satellites, for no real fun (well I cashed once and it was cool), since I wasn’t using the tickets most of time. It is really important as a poker player to find your game and play on it the moment you feel ready for playing and giving your best. This few late months I wasn t sure what I wanted to play, and those tourneys I wanted to play where way to long. My busy student/worker agenda doesn t really let me that much of a choice.

But then two facts put me on the way again:

-Multitabling: I discovereded that I wasn t that bad playing 4 tables at the same time, and now I can even play 8 SNG without really affecting my game. This is a big advantage for those who doesn’t have too much time to play or if you simply cannot concentrate for long periods of time.

-My BR level now allows me to play the $20 MTT and this excites me a lot (Ok I m not horny while palying). I try to play just the games I’m really fired up to play, and now that I can play those I’m getting nice results, and hope to make a big cash very soon!!!

So all this excitement is really good for my game, and I can see it on my results

I played 6K hands of MTT and SNG for a total of 68 games. I think it is not a lot but is still ok. I’m planning to play a lot more soon, but as Holydays and exams are still to come, December and January should be on the same level. Then I’m counting on having less hours at work and classes, I’ll have a little more time from February. Anyway this 68 games were kind on me lol. A positive $555, and nice ROIs for MTT $20 and SNG $12 (6-handed) but SNG $10 (9-handed) wasn’t really good, and I “almost” break even for -$25. I ll keep playing those though, and see how the ROI evolves on time. I’m happy with my $12 6-handed results and I think I ll play more in the future.

In CG I had a nice month (+50 - 65BB/hands), but it is true that it was mostly thanks to the table I talked about before, and I had a serious bad run on NL10 thanks to some crazy moves on a table that tilt me really hardcore. But well I didn t played a lot of those either. I’m planning to move definitly to NL10 when I get to $150 on winnings on the NL5, and stop playing occasionally that NL10 which isn’t really helping my plan to smoothly going up .

Well if you have questions, remarks, jokes, propositions, anything you want, just give your comment, I’ll be glad to answer

C-ya dudes!
